Oh yes, I've been using my Scarlet Spider hoodie recently. Sleeveless means it's a nice compromise between too cool and too warm at this time of year. :)
Okay, I had to go and do mine too. So many games I haven't even recalled the names of in decades. They didn't have Tumble Bugs, aka Dung Beetles, in the database so I ended up with Mercenary instead which is honestly a better pick. There were so many possibles though, it's hard to pick just nine. I played a lot of Atari games until university, (and I remember I played a *lot* of Dungeon Master while I should have been revising for my GCSEs), after which I got the Free Software bug rather hard and mostly didn't play games, until finally Portal tempted me back to gaming and I created a Steam account just to get Portal on a free weekend. (To be honest, playing Portal after the last games I'd played having been Atari ST technology level was a bit of a shock to the system.) Then I got a bunch of game Humble bundles which to this day probably account for most of my Steam library, and more recently I've tended to get very few new games, I just keep playing the few sandbox games I have over and over.
Oh yeah, how about Rusty! He's very awkward to take anywhere so there aren't many photos of him at all. Here's one relatively recent one though. He's the lighter-coloured one with the cords and the braces.
I was this guy yesterday, it's been a while! I do wonder if I should get better leathers than these £50 eBay ones (hardly-used second hand because the guy bought them, stored them away for a while, then found they no longer fit!) After wearing them for about 4 hours yesterday (the first and last hours of which I was on the bike) I had an aching back for the whole evening. Could be just that they're not designed for standing/walking, just for being on the bike, or maybe better-fitting ones are able to do both comfortably? I don't know. Not like I have oodles of spare money to go commissioning made-to-measure ones with a custom design anyway (I wish)! 😜

Then there have also occasionally been centaurs (outside of furry) like this one. I even spotted a unicorn centaur at a comic con myself some years ago.
But there's a real lack of taurs. Get busy, people. :]
Finally (I've only done 900-odd miles in the last year) got on my bike again on Friday, first to get it MOTed, then to make a trip to the old house to check everything was okay before a viewing on Saturday (we're still trying to sell it, Land Registry permitting). Got home absolutely drenched in sweat (partly down to choosing waterproofs instead of leathers because they're quicker to put on and I was late for the MOT appointment). But today, the weather's a lot cooler. Should've waited a couple of days.
The place near us that does bike MOTs has… *views* on non-Mercedes vehicles. 😉
So, this leaflet came through the door recently. Folded in half like this. Guess how my mind filled in the first half of the headline? I blame you lot for making my brain work like this!
Since having to leave the windows open at night to let the house cool down a bit, this is what my ears are being assaulted with at 6am every day. I suppose there are worse ways to be deprived of sleep.

Sorting out stuff for the tip and I notice a chip that looks like maybe an EEPROM or something inside the old alarm system box. The little blue sticker makes me think it's firmware or similar and the date is the same year the house was built (or at least, sold to its first owner), 1989. (On the other hand, do EEPROMs have that many pins - maybe it's a CPU? I have no idea.) Is this something anyone would be interested in dumping and archiving? I don't have the knowledge, equipment or, frankly, interest, time or energy to get into this myself but if anyone else in the UK is I could post the chip to you.
Is this kind of stuff of use or interest to anyone? Any of it likely to be worth archiving in some way, or are all these sort of things typically on a publically accessible archive already? (This is a random selection of some of the disks my aunt has been dumping on me as she's spring cleaning stuff my late uncle used to carefully store away - there are more.)
Anyone interested in old old monitors? They'd need collecting from East Hampshire (or I could bring 'em to ConFuzzled). I can't vouch for their electrical condition as they've been in a shed for many years and might not even work (I haven't tested), and also I (probably inexpertly) repaired the 15" Iiyama many years ago when a solder joint on the PCB on the back of the tube cracked and the red channel stopped working, but I'm guessing a retrocomputing enthusiast might be able to get them safe and working again.
Probably a bit silly of me but I've been avoiding throwing this envelope away. Some months ago a neighbour wrote a thank you note to me as Spidey, which does make me happy. :)
Now that I have a (digital) piano sitting in the living room, I want to do something with it. I don't think I have the time for actual training, but at least I can noodle around on it occasionally and sometimes make something that actually doesn't sound bad. Like this. Just tried changing an arpeggio one note at a time, and surprisingly got something interesting.
Phew, finished making and writing cards. I've even delivered some to our neighbours. Just the rest to do tomorrow, when I drive to the old house to collect some stuff, and also put cards through old neighbours' doors too.
Holy flip… and this guy's 23 years old. Twenty-three. And I can still remember the excitement of the first time I took Kelsey out (my first time ever in fursuit), at Megaplex in 2003. How time flies.
