I have successfully wired up the new sockets in the garage. The tester shows 3 green LEDs and is screaming to show it's not wired up incorrectly — at least not in the ways it can detect. The freezer is already plugged in and working, no need for that slightly crumbly 4-way extension lead any more!

congrats, you didn't do what the electrician who did our garage sockets did... (stacked vertically so the top plugs get in the way of the bottom ones).

@Ret Yep, that was a very deliberate choice! They also don't get in the way of opening the freezer lid. 😊
