"I bought this enchanted sword," the student said. "It glows in the presence of someone who questions their identity."
Buying such a sword was a strong hint, the swordmaster thought. "And it glows?"
"It glows regardless of how far away I am!"
"Ah. Is it a sword, or an identity doubt detector?"
Ok wait... so if your company makes your developers use AI to generate code, you can no longer copyright, trademark or patent that code?
Cool. I'm sure that will work out great for you :)

We've been able to do this for a while now on a targeted scale. In fact, I have personally worked on this myself. To think anything has been remotely anonymous in the past 15 years is kind of silly, I'm afraid.
Still, it's an interesting application of LLM and scale. I suspect it's way harder to know when it's simply lying to you than with more traditional techniques. And that makes it way more dangerous.
It will pretty much only be used for harm.
Think youβre an anonymous on-line with your fake user name? Recent studies demonstrate that Large Language Models are becoming highly efficient at de-anonymizing internet users.Brian Greenberg :verified: (Infosec Exchange)

The professor brought a large box.
"Here, I built you something."
I've tested many of her inventions, so...
"A doll house?"
"Scale 1:24. Put it on the floor and press that button."
We shrank.
"Time also scales. A full night's sleep here is twenty minutes."
"There's only one bed."
"Details."
#Trump has launched another war to remind us of the danger and insanity of being reliant on #FossilFuels being delivered through geographical bottlenecks.
How thoughtful of him.

Happy Mother's Day to any and all mothers out there.
My family gathered this evening at (one of my sisters)' place for a chinese takeaway, which was pretty good. My aunt made a toast to my sisters, and to several other mothers in our family, including mine, who are no longer with us. She said, looking around the table, that they'd done a good job.
Complimented by proxy. Nice.
I just realised what ChatGPT reminds me of.

It's a pretty amazing feeling when someone in leadership comes asking for mentorship before a promotion because they admire your style and approach to problems.
"How did you get over imposter syndrome?"
I never have.
"But you make bold decisions and execute on them."
Oh, those are two different, but related things. I make the bold decision because I've been agonizing about it for the past 2 days and reached the conclusion this is the best possible way to act on it, so let's get it out of my head and into reality.
"Oh, so questioning my choices isn't a bad thing."
Nope, it's healthy as fuck. Shows you're ready. Introspection before action is something this world needs more of.
It was one of those days when nothing goes right. I managed to hit a button that wasn't there in the lift, and instead of taking me to the fourth floor, it took me four worlds sideways.
I've gotten used to it here, but I really miss dodo burgers.

Something terribly wrong with the world, yes.
With almost everyone adding AI into almost everything and giving little thought to the consequences, it *is* exciting to see Mozilla listening to its user base and actually giving users a choice as to what's enabled on their devices. Something not many other AI-enthusiastic companies are doing...
I've never, (at least knowingly,) heard a double ocarina before, sounds kinda' neat.

Welcome to my Etsy shop and Doodki online shop:https://doodki.com/ (temporary technical issues, will be resolved soon)https://doodkimusicworkshop.etsy.comThi...YouTube
@Elbrar It's one of those things where the technical possibility never precludes the requirement to follow the law, I guess. Like, Microsoft has no idea what the hell your company policy is, so it may entirely be company policy mandating that all calls be recorded and so all employees are already aware.
As far as incoming calls for call center purpose, all of the incoming lines had that as like the very first thing that was said after the name of the line was spoken. I made sure of that every time, and even corrected a few of my co-workers if they forgot it.
Who knows if they're still correctly doing that since I'm not there. I feel like I was the only person who gave a shit about making sure that stuff was done well, and about learning new stuff.
"Master, I had a thought. What if the sword doubts its identity?"
"I know a smith who specialises in ploughshares. We can ask her."
