A question, as I try to write a story: if you have a really good day with a friend, what might you have done on that day? What does your "good day with a friend" look or feel like?

Are you more likely to want to stay in or go out? Do you go into town or to go out into the countryside? Do you aim for somewhere crowded and energetic or quiet and peaceful? Do you typically pick something commercial like cinema or bowling, or visit a public space like a park?

Or do you do all of these things at one time or another?

Depends on who the friend is. I have friends where a good day is walking round town, seeing a show. For others it's working on a project together or cuddling on the couch. I think it runs the whole spectrum really.

@Phil M0OFX Interesting, thank you! I think I was wanting to get some idea of a variety of things people do together, because my own experience is pretty limited, I think. Working on a project together is something I'm not really sure I've done before, so that's useful β€” I think I tend to be a loner when it comes to projects (e.g. I don't see how pair programming could ever work well with me involved).
