Yesterday I spent the princely sum of £49 on a lawnmower. Today I put it together and mowed all the grass, front and back. Hopefully I won't have to do that too often; I now desperately need a shower. At least the grass is now short enough that hopefully the tall weeds and grass won't make it difficult to rake up the leaves and acorns the oak trees are likely to completely cover the garden with over the next month or two.
