I do wonder if there should have been an intervention in my younger years when I first started showing an interest in programming:
"Halfy, don't follow this path! The future isn't building flying cars and making amazing games. It's bugs, and endless broken crypto features, and oh my god nobody can pick a platform to talk on!"
And instead they should have told me to nurture the writer in me instead. I love writing! I should have been doing this for years!

@ShadowJonathan love computers, have done since I was like 3-4. Really love solving problems and learning about them. Enterprise feels like the junk food of computing, perfectly doable but no nutritional value for my thinking box.
That said, still a privilege to be paid to do the thing you love
