That was: alarm at 7am (a little before sunrise), breakfast, bike gear, pre-ride checks, (send message to ride leader apologising for lateness), ride to Leatherhead, refuel (another message giving ETA), ride to Box Hill, meet others, pre-ride briefing, long long ride to Bodiam in Kent, early lunch/snack (I had hot chocolate and a chunk of rocky road), ride back, but split off from the group at Westerham, ride to Telehouse in the Docklands, check cabinets in the datacentre, find I'm really tired and stop for food and drink (Dr Pepper, a sausage roll and a bag of crisps), ride home, stopping off for expensive fuel at motorway services, arrive home after dark. 240 miles plus in total.
