Eeeeee, I saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem this evening and it's *so good*! The turtles are much more convincing as actual teenagers in this version and they're adorable little guys (except Donnie "I have found my people" Tello who's more like adorkable) (or maybe all of them are adorkable at times). They're all lovely and need to be hugged a lot and protected. :]
(Somehow they're even better when they shed their masks and switch to normal teenager garb β though how that hoodie fits over that shell I don't know.)
Splinter's more relatable too, and I liked the way the whole thing with the other mutants worked in this one, good characters there. Hardly anyone's bad just for the sake of being bad.
(Yes, I'm still a fan of the 2012 series, not that I've watched it in a while, but this one's also great. The turtles are good beans, sweet and silly.)
