Ooghph. Well, my bike starts! I haven't ridden it in 8 months (last fill-up was 30 October and the tank is still completely full, so I don't think I have gone for even a short ride since then). The battery needed charging, and after that it gave me a bit of a worry when the engine didn't turn the first few times I pushed the button (just got a click from a relay under the back seat). But after a few goes, it started! And after I let it run for a few minutes and warm up, it started with no hesitation each time I stopped and restarted it. Phew. So, next job is to put all the clobber on and ride it around for a while to check if there's anything else I ought to tell them when I take it in for servicing tomorrow! 🙂
I saw the famous “it’s alive!” scene incorporated into the 1996 ‘Doctor Who’ TV movie before I’d actually ever seen the Karloff movie in full, heh.
I picked up a Blu Ray boxset of the Universal monster movies a couple years ago. Those films are nearly a century old and still awesome.
