Now at #emfcamp #emf2026 , a fusion spliced fibre necklace.

Someone laid on a table with fibre cable around their neck in the form of a necklace. A team of engineers are trying to fusion splice said fibre into an actual necklace.

It has taken 90 minutes so far. Pretty good for Openreach and far better than Kellycomms.

Somehow this is still not the weirdest thing which has happened at EMF 2026.

If it had to be spliced in situ, I'm assuming it was too small to take off. Wonder how long it lasted/is lasting?
