Taken just after the Kaiju Stomp at WPAFW2026, where multiple Kaiju (fursuiters) rampaged through a city (cardboard boxes of various sizes).

I'm walking a bit oddly because my right bootie has come loose inside my hindpaw and I'm trying to make it to a seat before I lose the paw completely. Of course, as soon as I sat down the bootie slid back into place and stayed there the rest of the day.

Is it odd how, while I have to admit I've never really liked the style of those werewolf suits (sorry!), I do love the cohesiveness and seamlessness of the way they look? Somehow they seem more "whole", if that's the way to put it, than most fursuits.

@pippin Nah, that's fine. All the Verdun werewolves were made with the needs and constraints of running around at a haunted attraction in mind, so it's not surprising they look a bit different.

This guy was the fourth Verdun-style iteration I made. Right now I'm working on a new head, tail, hands and feet, and refurbishing the body suit. Changing him up a bit after so many years :)

@pippin yeah the brown seemed new to me! Hadn’t realized the long evolution here but makes sense bc these def don’t last forever.

@colinstu @pippin The long brown NFT fur "mane" over the shoulders and down the back was done back in 2002, but it needs sunlight to really pop.

I'm slowly replacing the shorter dark grey NFT fur on the rest of the body; for some reason it's kinked up over the years and just doesn't look good anymore.

@pippin must be the sunlight. Yeah normally it’s been indoor pics.
