"People should be able to have disagreements" is a key thing very, very sorely missing from much of the internet as a whole, and a great many friendships.
You will not ever see eye to eye 100% of the time and that's okay, but it should not also mean that we shrug off real harm and real damage from certain individuals, organisations or parts of communities either.
Itβs a human nuance so often misunderstood and misused.
Although seeing people like that makes me very aware that I don't really have opinions that would make me interesting to anyone, or the ability to articulate them properly if I did. Which is probably why I only really know people online and hardly ever meet anyone in RL. I really need to, though.
