Yep. Every individual is their own separate bag of physics, chemistry and biology and the only reason there are similarities at all is because natural selection needs offspring to be somewhat like their parents in order to meaningfully naturally-select. And too many people think that evolution tries to produce perfection, when the costs/incentives more often produce something that just barely works. There's no such thing, in the real world, as a species โ€” that's just an abstraction to make it more convenient to talk about the common characteristics of a load of individuals. Even "male" and "female" are abstractions.
