@Dairishgoat Ah, I've not seen that. Wikipedia made me think it was based on a novella of the same name, although maybe *that* was inspired by Hell in the Pacific.
To be fair, the ‘two enemies who must work together to survive’ idea is pretty much a cliche now. It’s been done so many times. But ‘Enemy Mine’ ( or ‘Mine Enemy’ as I called it for years due to a confusing VHS cover ) does it pretty well. Here’s that 80s VHS that made me get the title wrong.
