Oh maybe that's the sadge brain cause. I think I'm feeling out of place in all the chats that I'm in.

Like I've got good friends but most group chats that I've joined, even where that are good friends in them, feel like I'm constantly on the periphery and that makes me unsure of how to interact.

Also ADHD distracts me from contributing to chats a lot of them so I kinda dip in and out and try to contribute when I can but maybe that makes me look like I'm not interested?

I'll have you know that you're welcome to come and go as the tides of your attention sweep you in and out from mine. πŸ’™

I've been that way for years now. I've dropped out of most group chats, but I don't think anyone missed me. So I'm just being me, quietly in a corner. That seems to be enough.
@darac I totally get that; starting to feel that I might feel better about myself if I'm not in chats like these.
@darac I've also felt similarly for years. So long as you're happy being you, that's the important thing.

I think that's how I feel just about everywhere, too, offline as well as online. It's pretty rare I feel I'm part of an in-group really. So you're not alone there. *hug*
