Oh yes, definitely. I've recently seen open source projects, gone to look at their site, and it's all marketing buzzwords and graphic design and stuff. Really offputting. If it was professional in the sense of being easy to read, full of useful information and honest about the software, rather than being over-polished nothing, I'd be much more reassured about their code.
